The Italian immigrant Pietro Azzoni arrived in Brazil in 1888 and, like many others, he went to work in agriculture, in the grape and coffee plantations. In search of opportunities to undertake, he brought with him the hope of building a worthy future and prospering.

 

From the 3rd Generation, one of his grandchildren found a sustainable business niche in the wood trade.

 

Initially, resources were scarce and eucalyptus loads were transported in carts pulled by donkeys and all the work was completely handcrafted.

 

Pietro's entrepreneurial DNA continues to predominate and, decades later, MP Madeiras was established in 2003 in the city of Jundiaí. Imbued with the same spirit of entrepreneurship to prosper, MP Madeiras has grown and diversified its portfolio with treated wood for various purposes, such as posts, floors and decks.

 

Nowadays, trucks and winches are used to remove and transport products, all in compliance with environmental legislation.

 

Therefore, the 5th generation of Azzoni in Brazil continues to operate in agribusiness, more specifically in the trade of eucalyptus wood and its derivatives.

 

In these 17 years of existence, MP Madeiras, faced adversities and challenges that served as fuel for a new wave of evolution: the creation of the Azzoni brand. A fair tribute to patriarch Mr. Pietro Azzoni in honor of the memory of the immigrants who left Italy to build their history in Brazil.

 

The Azzoni brand introduces peeled eucalyptus firewood to the fireplace, barbecue, oven and stove market. A new product carefully designed to meet the demands of its customers.

 

With 100% eucalyptus wood from reforestation and handling using specialized machinery, Azzoni Firewood is peeled and taken to dry in its own greenhouses, where it rests until reaching the ideal humidity for good combustion. Then it is sawn and packed in packages of approximately 7 kg (15,4 lbs), which in addition to preserving the quality of the product, facilitates transport and storage.

 

With the Azzoni brand, MP Madeiras establishes itself in the market with innovation and quality, and seeks to leverage business, keeping intact the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of Pietro Azzoni.
